Where to buy silver bar or coin for cheap price?
I want to buy a silver bar or coin for low price but i don’t know where. I know one of the company that selling those but they give me kinna high price. so i hope someone know and give me some advise please! Thanks a lot!
since a coin is an actual asset, and not merely a a line of data in some broker’s system somewhere, it can never be bought/sold as cheaply as a stock or an online metal.
The cheapest way to "own" metals is through commodities or certain types of stocks. Unfortunately metals isn’t really my thing.
If you really want the coins, you can get them mail order or from a local coin shop. If you know what coin you want, you just start by looking on e-bay and go from there.
There are many, many online coin brokers – way too many to mention. If you just want to buy one coin, it won’t be worth your effort to research this. Just pay an extra couple of dollars and go to a coin shop where there is a bored but knowledgeable clerk who will stare at your boobs while you ask questions.
How much is a fair price on a "silver" extended warranty? 2007 Kia Rondo 48,000 miles?
I bought a car with 48K miles and a silver warranty which covers basic stuff like transmission, engine repairs, brakes (not pads of course), basic electronics, etc.
The price given to us was 1,900. Fair? My instinct is to drop it…..
You didn’t mention where you got the quote from, but I would suspect it was either a dealership or a direct solicitor (internet, mail, phone, tv commercial, etc)… They tend to mark the price up quite a bit. I would check with your local CU and Personal Auto Insurance agent as they prices should be much lower.
The vehicle is still under the basic warrant until 60k (or approx 2011) whichever occurs first. However, the 10year/100K drivetrain warranty is only good for the first owner.

What will the Silver price do if the dollar gains value in 6 months ? Up or Down ?
Although its not a solid inverse correlation (dollar up=silver down) there is enough correlation that generally, a dollar rally such as we saw in Jan 2010 tends to push silver and other commodities down in price. However, in an extreme case such as the fall of 2008 where the Dow fell quickly, the dollar went up, and billions moved into silver futures. There is more to the Silver Price than just the US Dollar.
